Easy Chevron Bag & Beginner Friendly

I used to be so intimidated by the chevron stitch, thinking it must be terribly complicated—but it is actually so easy! 😅✨ If you already know how to do the basic granny square stitch, you can completely master this. I followed a fantastic and FREE step-by-step tutorial and it clicked right away. As a bonus, the tutorial also taught how to crochet a Romanian Cord for the handle, and I am obsessed. It is super sturdy, looks gorgeous, and adds the absolute fabulous and sturdy finish to handmade bags. Watching the colors shift in this beautifully sparkled ombre cotton blend yarn was an absolute joy from start to finish.
